One of my favourite things to do is teach. I love to share skills and inspire others to explore their own creativity. So many people have hidden talents which I think needs to be dusted off and highlighted.
Since moving to London, I had the privilege of becoming involved with the Handmade Festival. In 2010 and 2011, I taught six felt making classes. One geared towards adults which explored both dry and wet felting; and another one for kids. In 2012 - I'm taught three more beginner felt making classes geared towards adults. They're held at the London Public Library and free for participants. The classes are REALLY fun and the people I've met have been wonderful.
Coming soon, I will be teaching at my first weekend retreat in at the Honeydoun Cottage. This is an amazing solar powered cottage located in beautiful Huntsville, Ontario. I have always wanted to do a creative weekend retreat and this is the perfect opportunity to try it out closer to home!
You will also find me at Museum London teaching a few programs for children and their parents! I've had a lot of fun with the Homeschool program, the PA Day Camps, Early Explorations & Jump Start classes.
Feel free to contact me if you'd like to register for a workshop or organize a crafty program! I'd love to hear from you.
