When you don't have cable and don't listen to the radio.

Everybody's freaking out about H1N1 these days. So I hear. Lots of pandemic planning going on. Lots of meetings on what to do if everybody got sick at the same time.

It's all I can do in these meetings not to voice my concerns over all of this "preparedness". So I'll get it out of my system here.

My real concern is this - if the entire town turned into raging, blood-thirsty zombies with a viral infection that is transmitted through projectile vomiting - it's quite likely that R and I will have no freakin' clue until I start my morning walk to work and wonder where everybody is.
