To make your own, you'll need:
Scrapbook paper
Pencil
sponge brush (at least 2)
Modge Podge (yes, I know it's really called Mod Podge)
Varnish/Primer
Pre-made block letters from Michaels
Pencil
Acrylic Paint (I used white, you can use whatever colour you want)
It is important to trace the side of the block letter that you want facing out onto the correct side of the scrapbook paper that you also want facing out. Otherwise the sides won't match and it might make you want to chuck your paintbrush across the room at 2 o'clock in the morning the day of something like a baby shower.
Cut out the paper letters. You might have to trim the edges with really sharp scissors.
Prime and paint the block letters.
Modge podge the scrapbook paper to the block letter.
Coat with varnish.
If you don't let it dry before you stack them, they'll stick together. Again... this might make you want to throw something.
Those are awesome! Worth every second of frustration!
