I just got this email from my Uncle A who adopted a cat named Steve about a year ago:

The cost of an adopted cat … $0

A roll of gift ribbon …. $2

The cat joyfully playing with ribbon … priceless

Waking up to:
a cat who obviously ate the ribbon
having it hang out of his butt
taking him to the vet and finding out he needs surgery … $1,500+

Steve is in for surgery right now …



I once lived with a Monty-cat who used to eat our stray hairs. No fur balls for him though. No... Monty would poop out the strands instead. We used to wake up to him trying to poop but the li'l poop would be dangling from his ass because it was wrapped around one of the stray hairs and the hair would still be stuck inside of his butt.

so classy.

Anyways, I'll keep you posted on Steve's ribbon mishap.
