It's like the air I breathe.

Does anybody else have so many awesome addictions?

My recommended daily dose of sunshine and happiness includes:
a minimum of 10 hugs and kisses from R in the morning
1 Starbucks latte
a good laugh
listening to the tunes on my ipod (confession: they are mostly broadway soundtracks)
and
playing with my crafting supplies

R fully understands my need to just look and drink in all the wonderful colours and textures in my crafting stash.

I finished my very first scarf. One that did not require my mom to help me to start, add yarn or bind off. I've already started another one and my fingers are itching to pick it up and knit as fast as I can.

I've also become addicted to felting. Not those flat sheets of craft felt we used to play with in grade 3, but taking unspun wool roving (fibres) and poking it with a sharp needle until it forms a shape...preferably a recognizable flower shape. I know, it doesn't sound like much, but believe me, you won't believe how fast time goes by!

I was actually dreaming about japanese Chiyogami paper last night. I indulged myself and picked up a few pieces the other day from the Japanese Paper Place. I used some of it to decorate a knitting kit for K!
